Eldon
Wright serves as coordinator
of the new Youth Ministry program. After two years of review and
revision, this exciting new program is ready to be implemented
in September 2007. Eldon has over 20 years of experience in youth
ministry and missions. He has been a youth pastor in three regions
of Canada in Prince Albert, SK, Langley, BC and Portico (formerly
Mississauga Gospel Temple) in Mississauga, ON. While youth pastor
at MGT, he designed an effective youth discipleship program, which
gained national exposure in the PAOC, and wrote the “Join
the Revolution” curriculum
for the Canadian Youth Network project “2000 ACTS”.
One of Eldon’s passions is youth ministry in missions and, while
he continues to serve with the STM Network, has just recently stepped
down as coordinator of the Lead Team. In 2001, he founded Global 180,
a youth-missions organization, which dovetails nicely with the youth
program at Masters. He will continue as its Executive Director as he
teaches and gives leadership to our youth ministry department. Eldon
is married to Jacqui and they own three children, Andrea, AJ & Jake.
