Your online course offers you other ways of staying in touch with each
other, too.
When you
enrol in a Master's course, you'll receive your own course email
address and account. You'll also have access to an instant message pager,
and a class chat room.
The Classlist
link [1] will display the names and course email
addresses of everyone in your class, and will also show you what groups
you've been placed into for discussions and assignments. A yellow
bar highlights the names of any classmates (and instructors) who
are currently online with you. You can send them a pager message, or join
them in a class chat room.
If you have
email messages, or an instant pager message
waiting for you, you'll see these icons in the course menu bar [2]
when you log into the course. Clicking on the icons will open up the email
or pager messages.
