The objective of the Students' Council is to serve as the
executive organization of the student body. It acts as a
liaison between the student body, faculty and administration;
to interpret student opinion; to assist in the orientation
week for new students; to recommend to the proper and academic
welfare of the college or student body and to co-operate
with the Student Development Department. A student must maintain
2.50 GPA throughout the year to serve on this Council.
The miscellaneous fees, paid by students at the beginning
of the year, are used by Student Council for events and activities
planned throughout the year.
My name is Timothy McKay and I am the Student Council President here at Master’s College and Seminary for the coming year. Welcome to the Student Council portion of our website; I hope it will help you to see all the amazing things that go on here at Master’s and give you a quick glimpse of the team that makes it all happen. For our students, it is a great way to know what is going on and how you can be a part, and for visitors I hope you will catch a glimpse of the extraordinary experience that we call everyday life here at Master’s.
During my two years at Master’s I have grown exponentially, and a major part of that has been due to the relationships I’ve built with my classmates and teachers. The community here at Master’s is unlike any other, and it is truly a privilege to be in a position to build that community even further. I have a fantastic team of student leaders who all have a passion for building up the kingdom of God and the leaders we train here at Master’s, and I am excited to see how God uses us this year to make this already fantastic school even better.
More than anything, all of us on this team are just fellow students, learning and growing closer to God together, and longing to see God do even more here at Master’s. The staff and faculty have instilled in us a deep love for God and people, and we want to be a part of this transforming work that God is doing here. So come see for yourself what God can do in a community of believers who have given Him their all.
