A Message from the Alumni Association

February 2026

Hey there,

Happy cold-weather months. Winter has a way of pointing us toward spring. As days grow shorter and skies feel heavier, we hold on to hope—for sunshine, green grass, and new growth.

When I think about our nation and our world today, my prayer is that this season would point us again to the hope we have in Jesus, the One who brings new life. I pray for our MCS alumni, that we would carry this hope wherever we are, using what we’ve been given to equip others and share the good news of Jesus. It’s encouraging to see our alumni spread across the country and around the world, faithfully doing what they were prepared to do.

Just this morning, I met a young man for breakfast who recently found Jesus. He asked a simple but powerful question: How do we change the world, and how do I help my friends find Jesus too? Instantly, I thought of our Church Hubs—a network of churches across Canada where young leaders like him could be trained, equipped, and sent as leaders of leaders.

That could be us—our small Northern Ontario town—preparing Spirit-filled, capable women and men to lead the church and help lead our nation into a new season.

I am filled with hope for the future.
