On March 4th, 2022, we were delighted to receive notification from the Association of Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) Commission on Accreditation that Master’s College and Seminary was approved for reaffirmation of accreditation for another 10 years, until 2032.

Master’s successfully completed and submitted a comprehensive self-study, and hosted an evaluation team in Spring 2021.

The evaluation team praised the thoroughness of our self-study documentation, including our institutional assessment and strategic plans. We were also commended on “sustaining an institutional culture where students feel loved, accepted, and supported” and for the institution’s—and especially our faculty’s—commitment to “cultivating spiritual maturity” in our students. The evaluation team also noted areas for continued improvement, such as expanding our financial reserves, adding the seminary to our assessment planning, and continuing to develop our library policies and procedures. We are grateful for the acknowledgements and committed to improving the areas identified to better align ourselves with the ABHE standards.

Because our evaluation team visit was conducted virtually due to pandemic travel restrictions, Master’s will host a Verification Visit this summer, when we will welcome Dr. Ronald Kroll, former director of the Commission on Accreditation to our Peterborough campus.

We’re thankful to the entire Master’s community for their participation in the self-study process, and look forward to continuing to serve our constituency through our mission of equipping Pentecostal leaders for ministry.
