Cleison is a seasoned ecclesiastical leader and scholar with over two decades of experience in pastoral ministry and theological education across diverse cultural and linguistic contexts. His work reflects a deep commitment to integrating pastoral practice with academic rigor, offering a holistic and globally informed approach to Biblical Studies and Pastoral Theology.
Over the years, Cleison has lived, taught, and ministered in multiple countries, mentoring emerging church leaders and nurturing congregations in their spiritual formation. His ministry bridges the gap between the church and the academy, engaging the challenges of contemporary ministry (such as cultural shifts, ethical complexity, and technological change) with theological depth and pastoral wisdom. His passion lies in helping readers of Scripture engage the biblical text with cultural sensitivity, spiritual discernment, and intellectual integrity.
Cleison holds advanced degrees in theology and history. In 2011, he moved to Canada to pursue graduate studies in New Testament at Regent College (Vancouver, BC), later completing a Ph.D. at the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies (Oxford, UK). His doctoral research focused on the Gospel of John and drew on interdisciplinary methodologies, including Critical Narrative, Cultural Anthropology, and Semiotics.
He currently resides in Vancouver with his wife, Renata, and their daughter, Victoria. Cleison serves as the senior pastor of All Christian Fellowship, a caring and equipping Pentecostal independent church committed to impacting the Greater Vancouver area with God’s love.
