Dale has invested more than 28 years in ministry including the roles of professor, worship pastor, youth pastor, camp administrator, and professional musician. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Music, Master’s degrees in Christian Education and Leadership and a doctorate in theology of Christian worship. He also completed a graduate certificate program at the Royal Roads University and is a Certified Executive Coach. Dale taught at Briercrest College and Seminary from 1997 – 2009 in the areas of worship/theology, leadership, coaching and church ministry.
Since 1980, he has produced six records/CDs and was most recently signed to Ionic/Blizzard Records (Lansing, MI) and to Petaluma Music Publishing (Nashville, TN). More than 45 of Dale’s songs have been published and he has been a member of the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers in Canada (SOCAN) and the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) since 1979.
While playing music professionally, he toured solo (Roundtable Records), played keyboards and bass with Quickflight (Starsong Records) and Steve Taylor (Sparrow Records). He did recording studio and session work in Regina, Edmonton, Vancouver and Portland as well as with Slyngshot Records in Saskatchewan.
He served at Forest Grove Community Church in Saskatoon, Canada as Executive Pastor from 2009 to 2019. He currently is an adjunct professor at Briercrest College and Seminary and Horizon College and Seminary. He also has a coaching practice where he works with leaders to help them accomplish their personal and professional goals.
He and his wife Rebecca enjoy the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and camping. He also enjoys woodworking and golf. Dale and Rebecca have two married daughters and four grandchildren.
