He is currently completing a PhD with a thesis that will examine the historical development and future of Canadian Pentecostal eschatology.
While David is strongly engaged in the academic world, he is also an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Newfoundland and Labrador. He has served as a youth pastor (2012-2018), served on the discipleship commission of the PAONL (2014-2019), and served on various theological committees and ministry development teams. He presently serves his local assembly as a volunteer Bible Study instructor.
He currently resides in Gander, NL with his beautiful wife, Ashley, and his wonderful son. Ashley serves as the youth and children’s pastor at Evangel Pentecostal Church, and the provincial youth director for the PAONL. David, along with his wife are committed to encouraging and nurturing the next generation of Church leaders in their respective fields.
