In Canada, John served for nearly 17 years as the Campus Ministries Director for the BC and Yukon District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC), where he provided oversight and leadership to multiple campus ministries. He continues to serve part-time on the front lines as a BC university chaplain. Since 2019, John has taken on the national role of Coordinator of the SERVE Campus Network with PAOC Mission Canada. In this role, he supports the planting of new campus ministries and provides care, training, and coaching to ministry workers across the country.

John and his wife Nancy are proud parents of four adult children and their spouses, and they are joyfully embracing a growing number of grandchildren. At home, they share life with their spunky little dog, Captain Jack. In his downtime, John enjoys traveling with Nancy, listening to music, playing card and board games, and is an NFL Football enthusiast cheering for the Seattle Seahawks.
