Courses Taught: theology, philosophy, logic, ethics, and world religions
Lyman has ministered in pastoral & academic fields in Canada and abroad, first as Chair of the Department of Philosophy at the University of Sri Lanka and then at Eastern Pentecostal Bible College, now MCS. As Dean of Intercultural Studies, he structured programs and courses for cultural communities in Spanish, Filipino, Korean, Chinese, Tamil, and Deaf. He has also taught in Poland at Warsaw Theological Seminary for several years. Preaching and conducting seminars has played a significant role in his ministry in Canada, Poland, and Ukraine, along with Sarojini, his wife, ministering to the needs of women.
He and Sarojini have two sons, Niran, who succeeded Lyman as Dean, and Jonathan, and four grandchildren. As part of his academic work, Lyman has authored the The Quest: Christ Amidst the Quest and the book God’s Quest: The DNA of the Judeo-Christian Community.
