Dr. Van is the Dean of Master’s Pentecostal Seminary in Toronto, a position he has held since 1996. The seminary was the first graduate school opened by the PAOC. The seminary has partnered with Tyndale University to run a joint graduate program in Pentecostal Studies at their Toronto location.
Along with his academic duties, he has been involved with teaching and worship at Onechurch.to (Agincourt Pentecostal Church) for over 20 years, and for a time he served as one of the main weekend worship leaders. The combination of his pastoral and teaching experience with his own brand of humor contributes to his unique preaching style.
More recently he was Chair of the Board of Teen Haven (a group home for girls) in Montreal and now serves as a consultant. Teen Haven was a ministry started by his father and has continued on with Van’s leadership.
