B.R.E. in Christian Studies and Support Services
Overview
Students will receive Christian formation and leadership training as well as training in a focused area of support services. Students graduate with both a B.R.E. from MCS and a Certificate from an approved secondary institution. This program includes 16 months of MCS’s Christian Studies program and one year of study elsewhere in an area such as the following:
- Community & Social Services Management
- Food Services
- Disability Support Worker
- Educational Assistant
- Primary Care Paramedic
- Health Care Cook
- Continuing Care Assistant
Duration: 16 months with MCS*
+ 1-year Certificate
*Month duration is estimated on average full-time completion rates of 10 courses per 8-month period. Actual completion rates vary based on individual student course loads.

Additional Considerations
This MCS+Plus degree program is available through partnership with another educational institution that fulfills MCS’s degree requirements (for example, Seneca College, Centennial College, or Mohawk College). Ask us how.
Acceptance into an MCS+Plus degree program does not guarantee acceptance into another institution’s program.
MCS+Plus requirements must be met within 5 years of the completion of the MCS portion of studies.
Programs are not available to international students who do not have permanent residency.
