B.Th. Mental Health & Addictions Ministry
Overview
This program combines 16 months of MCS’s Ministry Leadership program with a 2-year Mental Health and Addictions Counselling Diploma program from an approved secondary institution. Students will engage in ministry and leadership training and learn to respond to emerging mental health and addiction trends in partnership with individuals, families, groups, and communities. Students graduate with both a B.Th. from MCS and a Diploma from elsewhere, opening the doors to either professional ministry or service in the public sector.

Duration: 16 months*
+ 2-year Mental Health and Addictions Counselling Diploma
*Month duration is estimated on average full-time completion rates of 10 courses per 8-month period. Actual completion rates vary based on individual student course loads.
Please note: +Plus programs are not available to international students. Applicants must have citizenship or permanent residency.
Additional Considerations
This MCS+Plus degree program is available through partnership with another educational institution that fulfills MCS’s degree requirements (for example, Seneca College, Centennial College, or Mohawk College). Ask us how.
Acceptance into an MCS+Plus degree program does not guarantee acceptance into another institution’s program.
MCS+Plus requirements must be met within 5 years of the completion of the MCS portion of studies.
Programs are not available to international students who do not have permanent residency.
