B.Th. Youth Ministry
Overview
The Youth Ministry program offers students flexibility in their training to become holistically equipped for youth ministry. Available in partnership with The YWC Coalition for Youth Ministry Leadership or through studies from another educational institution that fulfill MCS’s degree requirements.
The YWC Coalition option combines 16 months of studies at MCS with the 2-year YWC Coalition for Youth Ministry Leadership Program.
The other option combines 24 months of MCS’s Pastoral Leadership program (includes 4-month internship) with a 1-year Youth Care Worker’s Certificate from an approved secondary institution (for example, studying with Seneca College or Centennial College). Students graduate with both a B.Th. from MCS and a Certificate from elsewhere, opening the doors to either professional ministry or service in the public sector.
Options include:
- YWC Coalition for Youth Ministry Leadership Program
- Child and Youth Care (Saskatchewan Polytechnic, online option)
Please note: +Plus programs are not available to international students. Applicants must have citizenship or permanent residency.
